My 23rd Thank You A birthday gathering to remember Because I saw their smiling faces Captured in a photographic memory. Friends from different walks of life, A present that couldn’t have been more fulfilling. All my lovingness offered in just one night For the people I have counted on to help me get by. We gathered to celebrate more than four friend’s birthdays, But to celebrate friendships of one lifetime. Uncertain of what will still be memory, I write with these photos in front of me. At least if my age fails to remember I still have these photos and writings To remind me of you guys. Thank You… Please check out my poetry online |
