My Mother My mother was a pretty woman. And tried her best to do what’s right. She was a gentlewoman But forced beyond naïve in sight She had a kindly gentle face But stern with all that she would say With eyes that flashed a fires trace. To light a path and make our way I know her disillusionment A perfect life does not exist But she never shared resentment Nor did she spread illusions mist. She let her children see the dove With velvet glove upon the seem The rainbow in the sky above And grace within its every dream. She’s my love; beyond the smother Forever, my pretty Mother |

(sigh) Awwwwwwww, this is such a lovely tribute to your wonderful mother, sweet friend, I know she must be so lucky forever to have a loving son, you, in her life and heart! (big hugggssssssss) She must have passed on that magic and dragon dust your way, it's all in the family they say, yay, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

This is a beautiful tribute, Seymour. *S* Times weren't always good around my mother... but I still miss her very much. *S* And now... if anyone asks, I can just blame the mist in my eyes on the fog that's blanketing us... right? *S* Excellent work! |

This is a fine tribute, friend, Sounds like you "raised" her well. Mine is now gone, but I feel much the same. Thanks for bringing to life for a moment. Ken Through rubble and trouble and dark of night |
