Moonbeams Are a bright glow Shining from the Heavens From the dark velvet skies of night Brillance of moon never getting too dull As the moon shines, the stars sparkle Helping the moon give light Through dark of night Moonbeams ~**~**~ |

I like the way you move the poem, which is harder to do in a short piece -- adding the stars and building them into the action, then focusing everything back to the source. Nice piece of writing, this.... I predict you'll be doing more of these, eh? ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |

Ed, that makes me feel good for you to say something nice about my poem. Thank you very much. And, yes, I already have another one done. LOL I'll probably work a little more on it and post it tomorrow. I really love to do these poems with the syllable count. "Love makes the world go around" |

Thank you, Pat. Yeah, I can't get one form down pat, before these fine poets introduce me to another form I've never heard of. LOL Seriously, it is fun to try to write these different forms, with their syllable count and everything. I'm really not quite sure if I've got the other aspects of this form just right yet, though. But, like I said, it's fun trying.. Heart Hugs, Ethel |

Ethel, this was marvelous. I don't know what a rictameter is supposed to sound like or look like, but I loved what you wrote and how you wrote it. I suppose one of these days I should pop in and take a class. Can an old dog really learn new tricks? Hugs, Marti Few are those who see with their own eyes and feel with their own hearts.
