~ By Sue ~ Again today, I thought of you And all the things we use to do There were some happy times That have all been left behind Sometimes I think back to then The time when our life did begin There was so much love we shared It wasn't hard to see you cared I remember the promises you made Those memories now slowly fade The good times did not last too long And I sensed I had to be strong Your words of love just did not last Those emotions seemed to have passed Since I gave in and left you that day I have managed to make it some way Right now it is a struggle for me But I will eventually make it you see For I am not one to give up All it does is just make me more tough 3-14-03 [This message has been edited by SmartChick (03-14-2003 10:39 PM).] |
