          Red night eyes linger,
               tired.

Disenchanment
     draws down devil's
          designs, delusions,
               decadence...
                         (defraud, defile, deprive, destroy, devour)
               ...divulging
          dawn's deceitful
     destiny

Honestly Wes, I usually don't enjoy your pieces that are heavily dependant on alliteration, but this one hooked me. I really enjoyed it.

Good job!

I believe the most important component of a poem is rhythm. Rhythm is the heartbeat of a poem. It is what makes poetry poetry.
