Awaiting Another Apology His apologies were clues I had been to blind to see Until it hurts when I realise He had never needed me Apologies are sent often Only to soothe and pacify By covering over motives He hopes sorry will satisfy Something as gone amiss Towards what used to be I'm often left waiting weeks Silence clouded in mystery Questions go unanswered His reason I still fail to see Still I shall remain devoted Awaiting another apology HopeĀ©2003 |

Hope, I have read this several times and don't quite understand the situation. But, what you wrote well and came across is a painful relationship with answered questions, and yet, a strong enough love to wait it out for awhile longer. Again, I don't know the situation, but I do believe our loved ones do go through stages of their own growth and changing and loyalty is an admirable trait as we wait. And that is a very difficult thing to do. Hugs, Pat ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |

Hope - this is quite a sad write. But, I must say, very well written. I do pray all is well with you. Chris "Hope" is the thing with feathers- |
