in the most bitter winter an icicle grew it fed of the cold this i knew and the icicle feared the sun for the sun in its brightness could make the icicle disappear but if it did not come the cold ice would grow until it became out of control but what the icicle knew was what it takes many days of cold to create it only takes one day of warmth to decimate |

Noah... This writing came along at exactly the right time for me... To remind me that my cold days will soon pass. Thank you. |

you've got it right! I like to see poems that are optimistic but still acknowledge the cold and briskness of life. Great Job! Always, Alyssa - And so it was that time stood still - |

(big hugggsssssss) Regardless of the sun causing icicles to melt away, you have to think of it this way, icicles are made of water, and water absorbs back into the clouds and is bound to fall somewhere new and perhaps become one with the ocean! (sigh) Just because you have broken once doesn't mean all is gone, so rise for the occasion again, yay, you have my vote, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Noah, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

Even about the cold, your poem reads warmly. A lovely image too. *s |

noah j, I enjoyed this. It was original, different and yet had something to say. Hugs, Marti Few are those who see with their own eyes and feel with their own hearts. |

I like the way this poem has its cold side, yet the warmth at the end says it all. Sometimes we have to follow a stronger voice, even if it's silent. |

but what the icicle knew was what it takes many days of cold to create it only takes one day of warmth to decimate I really love this write. It flowed so well, and I could relate so closely to it. Touched me. |
