The Color of My Thoughts |

Among these ancient oaks of Spanish moss and inhaled air of salted scent, I’ve spent much time in solitary contemplation. I have left tracks upon the shore while counting dolphins, timing waves, sifting shells through open fingers. Alone, I’ve watched each setting sun, comparing each sunset display to the ones that came before it and like women, finding each to have a unique beauty of its own. I’ve fed seabirds and like GPS-guided munitions, they found their target. Still, I continued to feed them. Night has always known the color of my thoughts and under those eternal, tiny fires I’ve felt peace, healing, hope. Life often moves too quickly and sometimes we need to step off and catch our breath. I just caught mine. |

what I like most about you, is your ability to be real....I felt almost selfish reading this, as though I had tucked down on the shore and read from a more personal journal....but thats poetry right? personal journals....you do it with much grace love.... hugsss and all the rest.... I've caught my breath too...really nicely done Michael. Why are you never on yahoo anymore? Liz It's not having what you want, it's wanting what you've got... |

(sigh) I think the world tends to make us move rapidly all the time and that can be such a saddening thing indeed, I only wish everyone could stop too for a while and admire the beauty along the primrose path! (big hugggsssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is very special, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Michael, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

In the coming of an Irish Day, I found this piece of peace. Rest well, Michael. |
