If the white were to go away winter layers would lose their freshness, right? but what if the white had to stay would it be as bad as a black afternoon? I mean if I were as white as a ghost and that white were to dissapear would my ghost part with it and my empty shell would be left... or just nothingness I suppose that with white's departure I'd lose all recognition of any rainbow whose colors all add up to white I suppose that whatever expression there were with white would go the way of ancient artifacts; gone and forgotten under significant layers of geological strata and I'd have no reason to excavate for it to distinguish one color from another no reason to paint either, why bother.. if the white had to leave my palette would wince on account of its exclusion as no other color would be lightened My wash would always appear soiled and the function of bleach ambiguous and since we live in a superficial world that would be frightening, wouldn't it... I mean if the power of a whiter wash would succumb to world of darker dyes. A state of whitelessness would rule my teeth would finally reach their day of reckoning too so long to that whiter smile... if the reflection of all colors had to leave it would be as bad as a permanent black afternoon. Martin, this made the reader really think, and that's a good thing... "Love makes the world go around" |

(sigh) I think it is necessary to at least keep some of the luster in that porcelain, but yet you have to have a little tinge of that darker texture as that is what gives depth to life and helps us to recognize and appreciate the contrasts more! (big hugggssssss) This is very well thought out, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Martin, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! It's all perception, isn't it? That's what you made me think - that, and the fact that the wash handing on the line on the other side of the fence will always appear whiter than my own... ... Good write, Ecrivan...and good read! |

Karilea, yes all a matter of what is "whiter"...ergo an introductory philosophy course from 1975 comes back to mind |

Hi Noah, And I love porcelain white because of a tinge of something else that says it's porcelain and not something else... |

Hi Ethyl, yes it's very good to stimulate the mind here or anywhere else...and to see things from another perspective |

Nancy and sometimes the thoughts come when least expected, like what the heck would I do without the titanium white that is part of many colour mixes in my home...and how different it is from other sources. |
