We walk home hand in hand The wind picks up A storm Is on the way We don't pick up the pace We walk on leasurely As the thunder We hear in the distance The night was perfect We just announced our engagement We wanted to enjoy This walk home When the lightning came And scared us We picked up the pace We smiled at each other Then the ran started Pouring down And we got under a bus stop And embraced While the storm Was raging We started kissing We held each other tight Like Nothing could break us When the thunderstorm Calmed down We continued Our journey home But we said to each other, "Love in a thunderstorm Is totally fun." Cold hands means a warm heart |

I've always loved thunderstorms so long as no tornado accompanies it ![]() The picture it paints and the feelings in this piece are quite clear. Hugz Julie |

nice poem, I love thunderstorms but we hardly ever have any here, lots of fog in the winter, which I hate...I enjoyed this poem very much...Ellen |

This reminded me of an old girlfriend. Because we lived so close we would meet halfway between my house and her house in the moonlight...I can still remember standing in the moonlight and waiting for her. James |
