Clouds they don’t really look morbid But they only look good with some sky Two combined together to love the eye To make you smile in your unshaded high ground Too much of anything can smother you whole Need to see the full parade The chills of winter nights And summer all the time For a man who fights to fight for a cause For a man who lies to lie for an innocent For a preacher who preaches to preach what’s related For a teacher who teaches to teach dreams never faded For a clever man caught in his own obsession To come down off his chemical mountain To achieve reparation To get some well earned compensation For a free man to shout for more to be free For a man who holds a gun to his head Who wishes he was dead To remove his dread To speak for himself instead of indulging his fears That fly around him To swot them and finally be rid Mutual ongoing, untamed, wild and free Pictured now then and tomorrow As it always will be Sperari |
