Black ash Fire fall In the night The truth a liar See spells Barging by Dazed Mondays Sleep it looms Travelling to a moorish past Smoke signals A truth at last A house nearby the countryside A wasted ground stark deep outside A man is standing at the door Looking in to a dark no more We enter through the chimney pane Wood I see Chippings Desolated floor Table broken where bread once laid Goblets cindered marks a grave A mound of earth where a lost stone lies No vibrance here alone he dies A wailing wolf he sees the past The sky discreet as shadows pass I mourn the time I see this day No birds no more where shadows lay A lost excess when the best has passed He weeps no more alone at last No mountains, leafs No sea, no shore No sun to see no moon no more Lost inside a boredom cage No books to read to turn the page Inspirations place to fade A lost forever that boy has made What have we done he ponders so still Who cares for beliefs Who cares for will Sperari |

Sperari: "Travelling to a moorish past . . ." uhhh yes - despise that myself - I love your writing - the bit o Ireland is welcomed and appraised - very haunting yet comforting xxoo [This message has been edited by littlewing (03-08-2003 10:19 AM).] |

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Sperari, this is so very haunting, sweet friend, it sadden sme to see Mother Nature tormented like this and I pray soon somehow she wcan show resilience and these concrete jungles can stop expanding! (sad sigh) This has my vote, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sperari, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Nicely written, and I agree with Noah, as I am getting tired of trees being downed for concrete buildings. |
