Cave of the Dragon Inside of me there is a cave. Where hides a secret dragon knave It is a place my spirits drink. Imbibe in liquids wit and think A dismal yet a cheery place Abysmal yet an eerie space An area of passions dwell It’s but a stone throw from hell. A place of dialogue and thought A place where goal and soul are brought A bar that weighs each phantom fret A spar that serves you up forgets. I cannot stay away too long I miss the scumble and the song The revelry of what can be The new horizon I would see. I’ve learned to friend my dragons prank It’s either that or walks his plank. |
