Midnight Mistress I dreamt of wine, and song and touch of missing you in foolish mind. I catered to, and fed my whims, smoked the after-notion's find. And when I had enough to please, sated with content of you, I closed these eyes, replaying then the longing for, tomorrow's view. I'm lost inside my deepest fears, a midnight mistress, tracking find. I dreamt of wine, and song and touch of missing you in foolish mind. And when the morning reaches in and pulls me from my dormant sleep, distance me from mirror's hold. Let Alice feel, my warmth in keep. M * for Alicethruglass "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |
