how long the wait, to hold again, if only for a while, to sweetly tuck into memory for safekeeping, to call upon, some empty winter night, when all alone and self absorbed, alienation by choice, as of late, desperately seeking more time on her own, despite the warmth of heart and home, just needing a thread to hang onto, to weave a bit of dreaming into this unfulfilled heart, spring comes with the next moon, blossoms will appear, soothing aching limbs, welcoming back home both sleeping flower and song, if only to sit upon them for a little while, the season shortly consummated, in a blink, over too soon after reaching peak, vanishing along with those that came before, sadness surrounds the bud on the rose, visualizing its birth, lamenting its death, concurrently, before its first petals even fully open, watching my seeds grow in front of my eyes, still cannot surmise, how they've come from cradle, to standing eye to eye with me, right here and now, i feel the whispering of love again, hesitant to let it touch down, fearing its final chapters before the story even begins, i gather up rose petals to soften my fall [This message has been edited by inkedgoddess (03-06-2003 10:35 PM).] |

inked - "so sad, the bud on the rose, visualizing its birth, lamenting its death concurrently, before its first petals even fully open," ahh this is haunting - lovely and "i feel the coming of love again, hesitant to let it touch down, fearing its final chapters before the story even begins i gather rose petals to cradle my fall" we all tread hesitantly now - dont we? This was beautiful - again - I sense your motherhood shining through your trials - excellent xxoo |

I love your style! It's like I'm in freefall and I'm flooded with a variety of images and emotions as I fall to earth---thanks for the rose petals--they softened the landing! Have a day full of joyous happenings! EA |
