New Sunrise

I saw a twinkle in your eyes last night
It made them shine so bright
I saw a smile on your face
A smile that with a single
Brush stroke I can retrace
I heard you laugh and giggle
You were soaring like an Eagle
For once, I noticed no tears
Filling your eyes
I saw a glow in you
The glow of a New Sunrise
