How Much Does A Turkey Cost? (riddle) |

How much does a Turkey cost? The US government thought it knew. But 15 million plus apparently won't even buy a Turkey shoe-in, for those Turkies have locked the gate and won't let us in with our guns. The price of 'Peace' is too high they say, they want US to go away and leave them to soak in the ME oilbath alone. What price does a Turkey cost? Don't bother to ask, it's always way too high. |

"ME" ~~~nice turn of phrase.... It's hard to write a good poem about a current event -- I've tried and torn 'em up. But don't you tear up this one, cuz you succeeded! Good word-play all the way down, and none of the preachy poemics we see so often here. Well done -- Rat's inspired! 'Course what they really want is to slide south themselves and beat the Kurds into whey..... ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |

Ratman, thanks for the careful open-eyed reading of this one. Kurds into whey would be funny if it weren't human beings we were talking about. *sigh* I fear for humanity. |

Heh -- I don't fear humanity, but people scare the hell out of me...... That ME line reminded me of the way most of our gas stations now post signs to announce their motivation: "Self-Serve".... ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |

Yes, and do you know one of the more popular salon shampoos these days is called 'Self-Absorbed?' Just ponder that one for a while. [This message has been edited by Midnitesun (03-02-2003 01:28 PM).] |

(big hugggsssssss) And when the turkey just costs way too hefty, that leaves everyone wondering "Where's the Beef?" and you can only imagine the new dilemmas you hear others asking! (sad sigh) This is very poignant, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kacy, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Being hungarian I always wondered why there were so many hungry people living so close to a turkey. This shed a little light, now I just need to get this large kurd small kurd cottage cheese thing figured out.Could have something to do with the low fat,no fat and regular varieties.Excuse the silliness but sometimes it just seems hard to take all this Shiite serious. Witty write Kacy Live like it's your last day... |
