My doctor cancelled my second ultrasound appointment today!

I've been waiting for a month!

I guess this is what I get for cancelling so many doctor's appointments in my life. Damn this thing, Karma.

I just had no idea that the doctor would cancel on me, if anything I thought it'd be reversed.

This was important because I could've been told the gender of the baby and how truly far along I am, since we think I'm a little further than we originally suspected.

Damn, damn. Waiting is so hard to do.

I understand the frustration... I dealt with it when my wife was pregnant for my daughter...
HOWEVER....
Enjoy the waiting now, because before too much longer, you are going to ask yourself why things happened so fast, and why they couldn't wave waited longer before happening... especially when your daughter is getting on the school bus a week after she's born, and is growing body parts a month and a half later.

I AM smiling...
And tht fact should be enough to cause you to worry.

Christopher,

I'm 17 weeks on Monday, so not too soon to tell the gender. It all depends on it's cooperation. lol

Wow. For some reason I thought you were only a couple of months along! (Time flies!) For what it's worth, we had to wait an extra month to find out, because our doctor got confused and scheduled our sonogram late... heh. But (suprisingly), HE cooperated and has shown extreme potential as a future exhibitionist.

I'd tell you to be patient, but as terrible as we were at it, I know it'd do no good. So, just practice breathing.

Well you know, the funny thing is..

I think I'm further along than what they've told me. I've only had one REAL appointment thusfar.

I had my first sonogram at 12 weeks, but there was no measuring involved. I've been feeling real kicks since the beginning of this week, and I felt the flutters at 14-15 weeks.

So now it's become very curious!

I will be okay waiting though.. you're right, just breathe!

...and breathe, and breathe...

When my first granddaughter was born, I told her Daddy..."don't blink."

We just celebrated her 12th birthday.  I said to him..."you blinked".  LOL..he said, "yea, and I remember you telling me not to.  Didn't know what you meant then, but I do, now."

Yeah, Sunshine... that's about it....
My 7 y/o little boy just told me what color he wants me to paint my car when I give it to him for his 16th birthday... IN DECEMBER!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't remember him being that old, so he must have done it last night when I wasn't paying attention.

Whenever I feel blue, I start breathing again...
