Last Sunday my mother was driving her scooter home from visiting a friend in a nearby village. You know how she enjoyes riding that thing in and through nature. Well on this road two boys of about age 16/17 came from opposite direction on bikes and when they were close to her, they just rode towards her and spit her all over and then they laughed loud while riding along. Can you imagine?????!!!!! Damned where the world is coming to!!!! She felt so humiliated and so dirty and no one on that road to grab those kids. KIDS!!!!....they're almost adults at that age! Ohhhh I would've rode them off their bikes if I had seen such a thing, spitting an old lady!!! The worst part is...she's afraid now to ride her scooter...and that is, I think the saddest part of it all, they took away her feeling of security and there with the only thing she loved to do, to ride her scooter along the beautiful open country roads. Are norms and values not respected anymore these days????? So, it's been over a week now and still I had to vent this, because she's still afraid, damn it! Like scattered leaves...my words will flow |

OH Titia...that is infuriating...I am angry with you. Shockingly UGLY, that. Please, pick your mum some flowers--give her a hug from all of us--and try to tell her that not everyone has such hatred in them... This just made me so sad.  |

Titia~ I heard from dearest Muys today ... she told me how frightened she was and how 'dirty' she felt ... I pray that she will not let an incident like the one she experienced spoil the enjoyment she gets out of her outtings~ She is strong of spirit .. and will use that strength to overcome this~ God love her~ And He knows I do~ Give her a *hug* from me, please~ *Hugs* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

How awful! Little brats need the butts kicked into next year.  There is NO excuse for such pathetic behavior. I am one that believes what goes around, comes around, TEN fold. And I’m sure they’ll get theirs! I’m sorry your mother had to go through that and feels stripped of her security. I hope she is able to get back on her scooter very soon.
