I am surprised that poeple aren't rip roaring mad.

Chas Freedman is very [America is the root of all evil] kind of guy. He also has strong ties to the Saudi government. He was also Obama's first choice for the national intelligence counsel.

I would like to know a good reason he was appointed to that position.

I tell ya what.

YOU read it and give me your own take on it, and I'll tell you how I feel.

And I don't mean to seem I'm picking on you--I am simply weary of being directed to blog after blog, and hey? I understand, too, that other people out there say things that I feel, communicated much better than I do.

I'm trying very hard to understand a lot of things these days.

I'm trying very hard to let go of the past and direct my attention forward.

I wish that this place, The Alley, in Pip, would become a more constructive place, instead of adding more bricks to anger theater.

So please, before you ask me to read a link--give me a concise idea of what you think of it.

I am trying to do better, m'self.

I need an opinion. And hey lovie? I'm grateful to those who express what I think better than I do, but tell me where your stance is.

I would like to hear opinions that have and hold some options for our future.

Partisanship is out.

Centralism is "in" because that particular stance is willing to take the best and brightest idea from both sides of the invisable line, that our politicians have been hopping across for thirty decades now.

I'll read what you ask, only if I know you read it too.

That means you'll have to express an opinion.
