Huffington Post: October, 14th, 2008 quote: More below the fold. * So...........now that "judgment" has become the buzzword among many this political season, and, evidently, the key word being employed to critique Obama's candidacy here, perhaps we should hold true to this national discussion of what constitutes keen or dismal judgment and discuss this evidently telling development. Of course, it was no secret to begin with that McCain is far from the self-avowed "biggest enemy to lobbyists" image he often likes to gussy himself in where, with one simple glance through his campaign staff list, that myth is instantly punctured. In fact, according to Public Citizen, his campaign has more current and former lobbyists who raise money by pooling donations from themselves and others than any other candidate this entire election cycle, Republican or Democrat, including his campaign manager, his deputy campaign manager, his chief political adviser, his chief fundraiser, and the chief of staff of his Senate office. Nice to see you again, Noah! By all means, bless us with articles from the Huffington post. We would also like to hear more from the Daily Kos and anything that MoveOn.org wants to share with us. We're all ears... |

Thanks, Michael! I kind of felt I needed to take a lengthy hiatus from Passions In Poetry and sort of prioritize some things in my life, now that I have graduated from college and am trying to find employment. I've missed being here a lot, and I regret I scared some fellow poets here with my silence, as though something had happened to me for the worse, including rumors I had been hospitalized from my recent struggles trying to gain weight (I'm actually now at a normal weight level, yay!) * Yeah, you keep rustlin' up those WorldNetDaily and National Review Online sources yourself! (heard they just removed William Buckley's son there for endorsing Obama! ). You're doin' a good job there! There was one particular excerpt in the article that I did immediately think of you when I read it, and it was here: quote: Michael, it was Timmons' idea! It's all his fault the Oil For Food scandal ever came into fruition! After him!
