it's no trick.... I do believe he is the real deal. now if you were to ask about Sylvia Brown? I would tell you the woman is nuts. Have you read her books? Oh my goodness she is a few bricks short of a full load. I have read John Edwards too, and I tend to believe him. |

Oh, I really like that show. He is here in California, but the tickets sold out really fast. Do you like him or are you just skeptical of him? |

/pip/Forum29/HTML/001684.html and I was sorry then that I brought the subject up, as I unintentionally hurt the feelings of a friend in doing so. But I'll re-state my belief that if it lends some a bit of comfort, then what possible harm could there be... |

I’m reminded of the story where a woman goes to a medium to get in contact with her mother. Contact is made. Through the medium there is a long conversation, at the end of which, the daughter asks: “But Mama, when did you learn to speak English?” Why would the dead be concerned with the day to day? This seems to be more of a Shinto version of the after life. And this language of symbols they all seem to have learned that John Edward understands? Where’s the cure for cancer? Anybody ever describe what it’s like on the other side? And apparently pets are allowed? My seventy-nine year old widowed mother is skeptical. But let me give you a story. One afternoon my mother was in her living room lavishing affection on her dog, (it eats better than any the family ever did), when suddenly she was struck by a strong smell. It was the not so sweet scent of cheap cigar smoke. “What is that?” My mother asked herself. Then as in a revelation, she realized: “Pop!” Some years before his death, having given up smoking herself, my mother forbade my father from smoking his El Productos in their house. My father loved his El Productos. I can still see him sitting out by or in the garage stoically puffing away. When he died, we honored his wish and had an El Producto included with his body for cremation. Now I’m not saying anything certain, but it would be just like the Pop I knew to come back just to say in his own way: “So what are you going to do now!” John |

Life in the Cosmos according to Susan- Hmmmmm - John Edwards - dunno - seems a bit frivolous, and he is making money - that always leads to suspicion - Life after death - you betcha - because there was life before this life on Earth - we are on a continuing path to enlightenment - we were, we are, we will continue. Communication between the planes of existence - you betcha - when it's important, and usually with an agenda - be it good or evil - but the spirit world, it is all around us, just beyond the veil - Are we alone? No - there is life out there -yes, "that" out there - other planets - how arrogant of us to believe that in the total expanse of the universe we are the only ones in existance - are they klingons? Depends on your view - I imagine them to be like us- but that would hold true if you believe in the diety - returning to the John Edwards thing - dunno - maybe, maybe not - the only thing that is impossible is that something is not possible - Ah - gee this was fun - ![]() Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |
