couleur de lumière

soft touch, of pen to paper
for with ink I sketch from the heart
tonight the subject, placid
absence of worry, attendance of courage
to file the subject within.

mystified expressions erupt
as if to tell,
but the shadow from my face
is not the only deception of my thoughts.

tonight the comfort within
the good that has lingered beyond my horizon
now lights up my night
now being evaporated into the quell of pleasant sleep
and the dreams of tomorrow are bright

thank you. for either way there is the ‘couleur de lumière’.

you have taken the 'color of light' and the deepness of shadows, and mixed them perfectly together.....a soulful write...nicely done....
