Feeling like a defeated fighter
My heart feels so battered and bruised
You took everything that was important to me
Now my soul feels so worthless and abused

My face once glowed with happiness
Now in shame that same face I now hide
Long gone are the days I'd stand beside you
And in your presence beam with pride

You betrayed my trust once too often
Loving somebody other than me
Now I feel so lost in my confusion
From a love washed up and now lost at sea

I now wallow in my sadness
How much do I crave for happiness
The damage has now been done
My days now void of sun

They say that time will heal
No longer is my heart yours to steal
As I cast my dreams and wishes into the sky
And bid your love a final goodbye

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Sue, this is so very sad, my heart goes out to you and I hope everything is OK and now you're welcomed each day with a whole new true love and you wallow in joy! (sigh) We all love you so much, sweet friend, my heart is always with you! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing!
