castles of sand will wash away
castles of ice melt, what dismay!
mansions of cards rise from beams of steel
and fall in clusters at the sound of heels.

Castles of your mind have turrets set aside
and hidden passageways with thoughts inside
castles of candy can be licked until all gone
castles in my heart I build when I am strong.

Castles for king or queens to call their mates
remember castles of all seasons, it's time to find your fate:
warrior castles for vikings that sailed the seven seas
towers of locked befriended allies , keepers removed the keys.

In antiquity, castles to the sky we tried to build
too many languages were spoken for us to see a yield
castles of darkness would rise above midnight cliffs
harboured fantasia dragons that we slayed in myths.

unlock those barred castles of your mind
seek strength in the fortresses of your heart
all other castles are symbolic of our deeds
none of them outlast our endless will to succeed.
