I ached from a silly mistake where lips spoke before my words were tasted Then the bitter reward of having nothing but hunger for love and a terrible thirst for spirit soothing I wanted to feel 10 feet tall and wound up feeling so small as if nothing was left but a slight smear of who I was I realized that I am only faintly there without your arms making me real even as my arms were folded up as I walked away pouting like a child who didn’t get her way too stubborn to see how I made my own cage and rattled it foolishly then a voice gifted me saying that the one that heals is the one that reveals love to go to the place where we meet and offer there, my heart it didn’t matter who was right or wrong healing was the key In a matter of seconds the eternity of pain slipped away I suppose I could take the credit but it was Love’s hand that touched as real as the Day seeping sideways through the blinds My hand was just an instrument that pulled hard the cord as I stood bare in ready |

Hi Regina I loved the last stanza the best ===== but it was Love’s hand that touched as real as the Day seeping sideways through the blinds My hand was just an instrument that pulled hard the cord as I stood bare in ready ======= What a lovely image. And you are so right, do you know? Sometimes the healing is so hard though...but you make it sound so gentle. Much to think on in here. Take care, Carrie |

Thank You. Cpat: If only we would. Unafraid. Boldly. Thank you C! Larry: Just lil ole me really..with a great big guardian of my heart spirit I suppose. Many thanks! Janet: "from a poets hands...comes humility from loves hand comes forgiveness." You see so clearly. You are a gift to me. Many smiles dear Lady. RsWells: Thank you for thinking so. I wish I had approached that threshold sooner. Lesson learned! Bill: Yes..so important those words. I have to write them across my heart! Thank you dear Poet. even as my arms were folded up as I walked away pouting like a child who didn’t get her way Regina, Simply wonderful !! Chris Life is not measured by breaths you take, but by moments that take your breath away. |
