Did you know you could feel a wish?
You can feel it fleeting past you,
Hurrying on its way.
Late to some overlooked date,
To brighten up someone’s day.
Did you know I tried to catch one?
I tripped and I fell,
But you were there to catch me.
Then you cast your loving spell.
Then our wishes darted like birds towards the sun
And together we simply became one.
In our hearts.
In our souls.
In our minds.
Love is ours to seize.

Did you know you can taste a dream?
You can taste the bitter remains when one fades.
But you extended your hand and restored mine.
You replaced mine with the sweet taste of hope.
My thirst was quenched by your offerings of love.
In our hearts.
In our souls.
In our minds.
Love is ours to breath.

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take,
But by the moments that take our breath away.

(smiles) Ooohhhhhh...this is soooooo gorgeous, sweet friend, your beautiful words always make me smile!
