everytime I used to say the word HATE, my dad would tell me don't say "hate" say dislike because the word hate is as strong as the word love. |

 (big hugggssssss) Oh Newell, I too feel that I really don't hate anyone at all, I rather pity those who bring hurt to others, though we should always take action on those who hurt many innocent people on purpose! (sigh) This is a very sad truth, dearest friend, I pray that someday we can rid ourselve sof hate and anguish and harmonize to one another, we all love you so much! You know this is so true. But I am having a hard time not feeling hate toward those evil people who killed that innocent man. Not that it hasn't been done time and again, I just can hardly take one more. Sandra |

Sandra, the reason not to hate is that it harms the one hating. And so, the result is misplaced. You see hate distracts from loving God and has nothing to do with fixing the problem. Only love can fix hate problems, as love melts hate. And if we knew all of the facts, what motivated this evil deed, it is possible that we might better understand the true sadness of the killers and perhaps see a way to prevent such evil in the future.
