Home Tonight I dance with him on sheets of white the strength of black iron holds us tight ribbons of clouds are over head threading romance of a canopy bed it shields us from the world beyond lacing us to a stronger bond we flow through steps of understand where tenderness now has taken a stand wrapped together with a living grace tenderly touched by the purest embrace there I dream in safety from fright for I know you are home tonight "Pour yourself thick, when it is you, that you spread." |
