In this Moment
~~~
Snowflakes brush eyelashes
while catching
drifting stars
The flakes alight
upon your tongue
as laughter
heals your scars
~
A fingered touch
surrounds your waist
Each breath
soars crystal haze
A whisper tingles
close to cheek
unspoken fears
erased
~
In this moment
does the heart recall
the isolation
within yesterday's blizzard?
~~~

Hello Rex
Thoyght I look in and found another nice piece created by you, Very nice, like it

The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.

Rex darling boy I think this is utterly utterly spectacular. The flow the construction the rhythm all combine to make this a truly outstandingly fabulous poem. Rarely is writing this good, certainly this far exceeds my expectations and my expectations for you are always high. YOU are a very good writer and this proves it.

Absolutely excellent work

As I am reading this one, Rex...we are having what I hope will be the last snowfall of the season.
Your poem looks just like what I am seeing outside my window.
Beautifully done.
