I have searched
both high and low
for a heart
both safe and sound
Days have passed
both long and slow
and nights have left
lost and bound

I have needs
both give and take
they in turn
both share my thoughts
My mind frees
both, what to make
consisting of
dues and knots

Wonder why
both, you and I
seem to have
both heart and mind
Its known that
both live and die
by means of which
each may find

Connections,
both make ends meet
and our lives
both so complete
