The Loft |

The Loft You wrote and asked about the loft, with words that trailed as though a wave tossed from a path. "After thought," they seemed to say. Or, "I'm detached." I could not tell. I counted spaces, hoping that the paragraph was, like the railing, close at hand and sure enough. You said "relax," and that seemed right, though in the summer, late at night, more than below, I feel the warm approach of words like love and cautious. This is my hiding place you know. RMW |

Hi Bob A loft takes the warm from down, seems it would be cozy and safe and small. The heart can hide anywhere though. Very glad to see you posting. Your poems always leave me pondering. |
