Lost in a familiar but now unknown place Trying hard to keep a smile on this face Taking things just one step a day, a time. Trying hard to write a few words of rhyme. Oh muse, have you now forgotten my name Is it too hard, is it me that you blame? Will you please come help me just a bit I’ll move over a little, I’ll let you sit. You have taken me through it all so well. Encouraging me then, making a heart swell. You have taken my soul on a hard ride You, muse...come out, don’t go and hide. I need your help today, over all others for feelings felt come and then smothers. I need just a push from your trusty quill Come now Muse, you must, we can, I will. |

Dear Poet, sounds to me like your muse has returned....probably just been napping. I know this feeling all to well as my muse seems to have a sleeping disorder. Very much enjoyed. Chris Life is not measured by breaths you take, but by moments that take your breath away. |

HAHAHA Barry, even when you need a little push from muse, you are still writing and rhyming. LOL ...."Come now Muse, you must, we can, I will." Love this line, I have been there and was last week. I hate it......I liked this poem a lot..floria Floria |

I think your muse is active enough, and if ever it goes missing, I bet you have plenty of stored up cuddle time from all those romantic poems to your wife. Sandra |

Down enchanted greening halls the Muse, forlorn, plaintive, calls Magnus! Magnus! come for me..." and echoes ring so silently... For busy is the man that penned the walk of Muse; she calls, again, Magnus, Magnus! Where art thee? the echoes haunt so silently... Seek thee thy Muse in soft twilight... she shall see thee through the night... |
