Fifi and Pete If you should happen to visit my home you would find two dogs, Fifi and Pete Fifi is always here, never will roam Pete, on the other hand walks a beat Fifi is a poodle with curly white hair painted nails, and a pink ribbon bow Pete is a beagle, that sleeps on a chair start the car, he’s always ready to go Pete feels utter disdain for the poodle lifts his nose in the air as he walks by What a dog with a bow on her noodle He’d like to teach that dog how to fly If he could fly her to Paris, France maybe he could lead a normal life He hated the arrogant poodle stance She behaved like a “high-flutin” wife One day as Pete was walking his beat wishing Fifi would decide to leave A truck came rolling down the street from side to side the truck did weave Fifi was standing alone in the yard watching this frightening scene She began to bark long and hard knowing Pete would be smithereens Pete saw the truck just in time to make it to the safety of a yard He might have been flat as a dime now he held Fifi in high regard That poodle chick had some class she was really pretty cute He began to appreciate her sass perhaps he was becoming more astute There is a moral to this story, you know "Never judge by the outward appearance; try to look beneath the paint and bow, it might be worth your perseverance" Written by, Wanda 2/18/02 |

Wanda - at one time I also had a poodle named Fifi. A warm and loveable dog. Have not had a beagle, but know some that have. Also a loveable pet... BC |

Bill; At one time we had a poodle, beautiful black toy poodle. My husband happens to be partial to beagles. Today, we only have a cat. I did love that poodle but our son was allergic to dogs, so we had to find another home for the poodle. It was really a sad day for us. Thank you for your response. Wanda |
