I share your pain, Lyra, I know that if anything were to happen to my son, nothing in this world would be able to stop the tears and empty ache I would feel inside, not even a loving husband. But I am sure you will see your son again....when we regain our immortality. Love, Light and Peace {especially peace} Sherry Cherish the good memories past and look forward to the adventure called Tomorrow. |

Lyra, Thank you for sharing your beautiful and loving poem. Please take care of yourself...I am sure his spirit is around you..smiling at the silly mistakes you might make..laughing at some jokes silently and cuddling you like he did when he was a boy. God bless you. Neha |

Lyra darling girl this is utterly utterly wonderful, always when you write I am impressed by the quality of your work, when you write of your sons your writing takes on a special quality. It glows with the love you hold for them, it is utterly utterly beautiful to see. This is as so often with your writing alight with love and vibrant with your special talent of painting their lives with wonder Thank you for this wondrous delight Love and warm stuff As always Mushy To give light to them that sit in darkness..... to guide our feet into the way of peace Luke 2:79 |

Lyra, Life works strange ways, no words can heel your wounds..a mother's loss goes very deep, I am sure your son would wish you the very best and not to see your sorrow |

amusemi...thank you for your reply...I know that he is with me, but I would just love to touch him once more and to hear his voice. Sherry...thanks and I agree, the death of one's own child leaves a hole in the heart that can never be filled. Neha...thanks for that very sweet reply, and I hope that you are right...but, of course that is something which none of us will never know about until its too late to tell everyone else. Noah...thanks so much for your kind words...I will always miss Eric so very much. Marsha...thank you so much for your kindness. My children are so special to me...both of them. Barry...thanks for your reply, I hope you are right, but I don't feel his spirit around me. I have always felt the spirit of my late first husband.....he is always here, playing jokes on me sometimes and showing up in my dreams. Occasionally, when I am pondering how to solve a problem, I'll come across something with his handwriting on it and it will guide me as to what to do....but so far, I really can't say that I've heard from Eric.....or maybe I haven't recognized it. Victoria...thank you, but he must be watching very quietly...please see my reply to Barry...above. Maureen...thank you so much for your kindness and for the hugss...and also for the tears Martin...thanks so much, Nothing can ever heal the wound left by the death of a child. It is the deepest scar possible. Peaches...thanks so much for your reply, It is a tribute which I didn't have to pay. copyright2002 Lyra Nesius |

Lyra - I wish I had the antidote, but I am just a feeble man. But your love for your sons is expressed beautifully in this write. Dave |
