standing on a shadow's lace

Touch Me There

there is a special
kind of touching
that can jerk
a sleeping soul
awake
it is deep
within the giving
and gentle
in its take
it will shake
the world around you
as you stand
flat hearted
on the ground
and be the
sweetest music heard
after being deafened
by the echo
of no sound
it is the sound
of the heart beat
with the rhythm
that matches your own
and the touch
that you’re feeling
is knowing you belong
and you are home

(smiles) Oh my gosh, this is soooooo beautiful, sweet friend, I too believe it is heavenly to feel your loves heart beat against your own, and I always dream of feeling that for the first time!
