your letters: a soft breath; an earthquake |

your letters: a soft breath; an earthquake the burning: the twisting, aching wind in me that feels like wings. the holding: how tenderly palmed, how defensively fisted; to hide, but for the feeling of being found. the nervous rub of wanting you, when I am hungry, when the world is dazzling and i am struck dumb. ~ the selfishness of liquid: how it refuses edges, forces the rim of plagiaristic skin even into its container; your haunt fills me like water in wood in the empty spaces, in the pores of places thought to be complete alone. ~ this wonder: a thought that wakes me by nestling its head against my collarbone, by clenching my heart until it bursts the way a smile orgasms to laughter; the way a shotgun explodes a tree. Full of emotion. The title alone is rather astounding. Thanks, Melton |

~Oh Miss,...I know sitting here with one hand on my heart and the other across my mouth in complete silence and breathing,...staring at this screen, just isn't going to get you the message,...but where?, how would, I,...just awed, you. I don't think the rest of me can speak yet, still sitting here, still feeling this feeling,...sigh, wish I could describe,... and I honestly don't want to say these words, because, they won't mean what I truly want them to mean, they won't be enough, they couldn't be, but yes, thank you for you, and this swirling Sunday! *Peace and love M. more. |

and when a liquid seeks and finds its edges-- then it can overflow them.... There is society where none intrudes, by the deep sea, and music in its roar. |
