“NOT KNOWING”
by
Bill Charles
~~~~
Many thoughts on my mind,
like all this is abandoning…
Feelings I have inside me,
emptiness of not knowing…
I’m sure you’ve had the pain,
of wondering about it all…
Heart weeping, not showing,
like being against a wall…
What to do next, or how,
stay, or leave, or don’t care…
Needing someone to embrace,
someone to love, anywhere…
Many thoughts on my mind,
like all this is abandoning…
Feelings I have inside me,
emptiness of not knowing…
Wow Bill, do you know how powerfully sad this is? I have a son in this predicament, divorced, and so so tired of being alone, and so depressed, Every time I read a poem like this I think of him.There are many in those shoes Bill. But what I tell him, I tell you. You have no idea what God has in store for you. So you have to just keep thinking positive and having faith. Loved this one. floria
Bill,
How sad...time, you know it just takes time. Love sneaks up on us and it's better that way.
I know this feeling well, Bill....
You have expressed it beautifully.
(big huggggsssss) Oh Bill, I know this kind of yearning so very well, where I just want to know how's it going to be and if everyone will turn out in the end and how I feel empty wanting to have a love story with a happy ending! (sigh) This is beautifully sensitive and heartfelt, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Bill, thank you for sharing!
May love and light always shine upon you!
Love,
Noah Eaton
Bill...Another excellent write. I certainly could identify with your well expressed inner thoughts.  Love and the loss of it...is so lonely because no one can be in your shoes. Thank-you for baring your soul;  because it's a comfort knowing someone else has felt what you've felt before.  Hope love finds you again, Bill.  ***Ivy Rose
