Basked In Serenity When I need uplifting I stroll beside the sea Softly the salty spray Soon refreshes me Helps the mind clear Refresh and restore Over the sand dunes Along by the shore Sand neath my feet With purpose to be All the mind chaos I sweep out to sea To ocean reaching My mind undressed In baring emotions As waves caressed Waves awash sand A clean honest tide Basked in serenity A warmth felt inside Hope© 2002 |
