I walk in your dreams

vous portez mes yeux avec des chuchotements

I have heard the journey
of your mouth shoes
when you weeped for hollow trees
in dark forest thoughts

you knew my old soul
when we were children skins
we danced by warrier fires
when the woman drank love water

bayou eagles wear cypress feet jewels
and talk of the dark water we crossed
in your pale skin boat shape
when you were wine woman

and you needed my hands as oars
I wet your skin with my hard woods
you beat my voice with sigh leather
I walk in your dreams now

you wear my eyes with whispers
