You're exquisite, like a porcelain doll
On the store's very top shelf
Wanted by every passer-by
Not even I can have you for myself

No plans of being taken home
Or at least not with me
So there you stand alone
Waiting for the hands you need

The love of you, someday soon
Someone will slowly earn it
And I will sulk with gloom
Hoping that they'll return it

You are perfect, like a porcelain doll
Every single little detail
I'll admire you in awe
'Til your heart's up for sale
