Petals uncurl like infant's yawn
When dawn paints the spring sky golden
Tangents are drawn along circles
Urging me to walk happy steps

Smiles are being thrown like sweets
When little kids scamper in joy
Squeals of laughter evoke a high
Leading me to join in the fun

It’s tempting me to smile at you
The flow of breeze from you to me
Carrying your thoughts from there to here
It’s tempting me to run to you

Scenes painted on cheerful canvas
With curtains drawn over bad days
All I wish at this moment is
For you to throw a smile at me

You write so many excellent poems... but this is one of my favorites. For to read it is to feel uplifted... so I'm keeping it for many reads. *S* Wonderful work! *S*

My friend, it is impossible to read one of you works and NOT smile. It has been a long time and hopefully within the next month, I will be back in full swing again and off the road with the ole job. It is a pleasure to read the soft flow of your works again.
