"I" touch the tip of your middle finger
as you hold out your left hand to me.
And with your palm thus facing up,
it becomes a notepad for me.
so I lay my index finger gently
across your palm and spell "L"
Then touch your ring fingertip,
as you sigh an audible "O"
Two fingers form the "V"
across your palm.
and as our index fingers meet
I spell out the letter "E"
And this exchange, this synergy,
is our finger touch ecstasy.
I touch the tip of your middle finger
and draw my finger down the palm
and up alongside the thumb.                 (J)
I touch the tip of your thumb.              (A)
Then I touch the tip of your middle finger. (I)
And I lay mt first three fingers carefully
across your warm open palm.                 (M)
And then touch the tip of your index finger.(E)
And Jaime smiles back at me,
in finger touch ecstasy.

I sure hope I finger spelled this correctly!
I'm teaching myself some basic signing. It ain't easy to teach an older gal new tricks! If anyone out there knows this type of finger signing, please let me know if this poem says what I wanted it to say.
