Enchantress' Dungeon

she sits in the cold damp dark,
plying away at her craft.
Rats nibble at her toes,
And the frost collects on her nose.

Out of the chaos in this surround,
She calls to order the day, the night
The wrong, the "write"
all in this "underground"

Self exiled here, she is
Wandering aimlessly verses in pip,
The jolt that she got from that
Late night call, gave her mind a slip.

Slip
        Slip
                Slip
                        Slip

And still her muse whispers,
Sweet thoughts, inspirational fires.
Writing them down and joining the que,
In this Dungeon, She never tires.

LOL You guys are too much!!
Thanks for all your help today Wilfred in getting me back upstairs and out of the dank dark dungeon!  With everything that has happened my muse has been working overtime and now I am afraid has a case of brain freeze!  But, she shall be back to work again faster than you can say abracadabra!  Or else...back to the dungeon she goes!

This is a wonderful duet and I would love to see more from the two of you...I'm sure others here would as well.

~Hugs and thanks to you both, Nancy~

ROTF....I've had wonderful visions of Enchantress in her dungeon...spider webs...creaky sounds...something that goes boo when she thinks she's all alone...so glad to know that she's finally coming back up into the sunlight...

Thank you all....

Nancy it was my pleasure to get you out of that dungeon.  Just do me a favour and be nice to your computer,  that way it won't try this again...
