The Shores of Alone

If I could make just one request
of love, and lovers anywhere
a single rose of petals sweet
a hand which reaches out to care.

Warm comforter to wrap around
and arms which hold not one thing back
a voice to recite poetry
for all these things, my life does lack.

I would ask love one further boon
a simple one, but hard to find
I ask that fear not be a part
of it, don't make us be that kind.

So love, what say you to my plan
for I believe all hearts can give
no need to hold it all inside
my love, together we could live.

"So love, what say you to my plan
for I believe all hearts can give
no need to hold it all inside
my love, together we could live."

Somehow I have a feelling that you will awake one day with a love to beat all loves.  Sometimes it just takes a while to find a love worthy of the one to receive it, however when it comes, it is magnified tenfold when the first gaze of forever is cast.  Well written and of course well versed in it's appeal.
