When fire doesn’t blaze, but quickly kindles with scintillating passion. When a comet doesn’t fall, but deftly splits the night sky with lambent glow. When an ember doesn’t burn, but holds your delicate gaze with fiery ballet. Then I will burst as an enflamed spark, with fire in my eyes, and drop back into your life, like a falling star through the curtained sky. [This is part two of When. You can't wake a person who is pretending to be asleep. -- Navajo Proverb [This message has been edited by Masked Intruder (04-03-2002 01:41 AM).] |
