What then was and will never be
as flight of dove, now soars on free
What was left dealt, standing alone
No sight, no sound, no telephone

What is..shall be our destiny
Saying, knowing, we had to be
Crying sad tears, ever so from loss
as feeling inside, turned and tossed

You are, you are, you shall to me
be precious, beautiful, lovingly!
You are, you will in here reside
kept in this heart, you will abide

I can, I will, I must let know
I do and shall ever love so.
as you remain a part of me.
For now, for then, all time to be.

I’ll love, I’ll hold, I keep you here
even when I can’t say love you, dear
I’ll smile, I’ll see, I’ll know you are
this light to me, this soft bright star.

And as the moons of our love set
when hearts of two shall it once let
A soft light’s glow covers the earth
where a love once strong now gives birth
