Angel of the Sea "So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living and moving thing with which the water teems, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. " NIV Genesis 1:21 I sit alone tonight pondering far I wonder, am I dreaming, is she real God's gift to the seashore under my star How I want to reach; how I want to feel. An angel birthed in heaven sent to earth To walk the sands and look on skies so far Was she the reason for my very birth? To drink in ecstasy at heaven's bar. O how I wish that I could fly to her On eagle wings across all land and sea And learn her wisdom bathed without deter For I'm in love with her philosophy. She burns light within a pretty lantern Inspires my pen to write along her ways Magnetic'ly she pulls me in, I yearn To fuse into her spirit all my days. And I pray now, some day she'll come to me As I follow, too, her first love the sea. Angel of the sea.
