Inspired by Noah's title "When The Moon Spreads Her Wings"

Collector Of Eyes

With the smile and wink of your eyes
in hypnotize of maybe this is the one,
I will lose myself in the mystery.

Butterflies will pace within the walls of my stomach
and shine the air around us with stars,
fluttering a new beginning.

The walls shall come down
to pave a path of thin ice
with the guarantee that it won't crack...
my heart.

I will release my soul into yours
and give of my simplicity and complexity
of the beauty, and yes, even the beast.
I shall savour you in deep inhale,
slowly close my eyes
and exhale with no fear
knowing that when they open
you'll still be there.

And so, shall you collect my eyes
at mesh of stare in breathless unfold
as your kisses borrow the sighs from my lips
through time's proverbial pin drop.

My thoughts become your words
through caress of a hundred meanings
as we compose through skin in stir of passion.
For, we need no conversation
to speak in volumes of heartbeat.

You hold me, naked against you
while the moon spreads it's wings
in fate's choreograph.
Rocked to sleep
like a child in your arms,
I drift off upon the rise and fall of your chest,
vulnerable, safe, contented
knowing that this shall last.

And, I must confess
that I loved you at first glance.

This is a very visual poem and well writen, i really i feel like i can piture the love expressed here. Thx for the read it has given me ideas on new ways to write my thoughts.

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Melissa, sometimes I cry when I read very lovely love poetry, and this one just touched me so very deeply! (kiss on cheek) You always have such gorgeous words to share, sweet friend, I cried especially just envisioning being rocked to sleep happily in a lovers arms, I know soon love will embrace your heart and you will live happily ever after! We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is outstanding, I LOVE IT!!! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet elissa, thank you for sharing!
