 It was like the new day dawning in a sad recognize I saw past the image past the beautiful disguise The fog gently lifted I was given clear view and I could no longer see the same when looking at you It was only about friendship to keep lonely at bay I never expected you in any other way Damn you for not understanding it was so unconditional I never asked for anything nothing additional….. And still you keep yourself elusive …..always just out of reach all the while etching your footsteps forever on my beach…… ~SEA~ |
